Pressure to Performance is a new concept in stress training. Marketed through a network of independent trainers in the UK and North America, it can make a big difference not only to the health of your people but also to your bottom line. Most "stress management" training is a waste of time. A series of short term quick fix techniques looks good, but a couple of months after the course, people are back to square one. It's as if the course had never happened. We don't believe in "managing" stress. We believe in understanding its causes and addressing those issues properly and in a focused way, removing stress where possible and deflecting and channeling it where necessary. The average UK employee is absent from work due to illness for 10 days every year. Experts estimate that around half of all absenteeism derives from stress. So, on average, you lose a working week from each of your people through stress every year. If you could reduce that, what would that do for your bottom line?
